I need help with my school elections...how to beat a popular person?

I am running for recording seretary, and I am running agaist a junior, and i am a sophomore(student council for the whole school). I ran for my freshman year, sophomore year, and i am runnin gnow for my junior year. In previous years, I have lost due to my unpopularity. Its not like speeches matter so muuch, but I was thinking about handing out pencils with my name on pencils. and candy on the last day..

are there any suggestions..i know i have to talk to people, during lunch, but i have to talk to all students

how will they rember my name

Name recognition might be easy if your name rhymes with something positive you could put on your flyers. However, bribery will likely be surprisingly effective.
