  1. Sounds like you may need to check you bobbin case. Take it apart and make sure there's no thread where it shouldn't be.

  2. You didn't run over a pin or something did you. Check the bobbin case, if it still is wonky, I would find a sewing machine repair in your area.

  3. Is the needle bent?

  4. Raise the needle fully and take it out and throw it away.  It's probably bent  by now.

Next, remove the bobbin case and the needleplate.  With manual in hand, clean all lint and thread from the bobbin case area (you may have to excavate fairly deeply) and from under the feed dogs (there are not felts under the feed dogs in any machine I've ever seen... but there are felt-like accumulations of lint that I've dug out.  Then oil, per the instructions in your manual. Do not try to blow lint out with canned air -- you'll probably just succeed in getting it jammed more completely into less accessible parts of the machine.

Put in a new needle of the correct size, making sure it's properly oriented in the needle clamp.  Rethread and see where you are.

If it's still jammed after proper delinting and cleaning, it's probably time for a real repair shop -- there's a definite possibility of broken cams or gears when jams don't clear with simple cleaning and oiling.
