I need help with my son?

my son is 5 years old and ever since he could he would wear his sisters cloths and play with her barbie dolls if we go some where he will by a doll instead of a truck is this normal

Im an only girl with 3 brothers who are now 18 22 and 25 they all went thru the robbing my doll phase an they are completly normal, dont worry he will come out of it again, maybe if you got him playin with more boys his age?? and i used to swap my dolls for the brother dinky cars, still love cars but it did none of us any harm

At his age, you may want to introduce him to some sports.  This way he might identify more with his team mates.

As for the clothes, barbie dolls...  it might be a matter of time.  Or it may never change.

Children can teach us a lot of lessons, so find out where this is taking you.  Be open and don't rush to conclusions.  But more than anything be his supporter/advocate.

When my son was 2 I took him to the store and let him pick out a birthday present. He loved s****. Doo so he picked a Daphney Doll. HE is almost 8 and he still has her. She goes with all his GI Jo. that he eventually grew into. We don't have girls only two boys 7 and 6. We also went through the doll goes everywhere. My husband was concerned as he is a men do men things kind of guy.  Just the other day my son told me he had a crush on a girl in his class.  I think when kids are that little it really doesn't matter and even if they grow up different they are still your child and you'll love them no matter what.

ofcourse it is! little boys are JUST little boys! If u want...instead of a barbie doll give him a action figure. AOf a superhero or a charrecter

I remember when my little brother used to play with my barbie dolls because he said he liked to make them talk and walk. So try to give him a acient figure or like a poweranger and stuff. Try it.
