I need help with my transfer credits situation!?

Question

If I transfer from an out of state university to a local community college after one semester will the credits that I earn at the university carry over to the community college if the colleges are not affiliated with each other?

I would say yes as long as you previous state university is accredited (which I am sure it is). The best thing is to order a transcript from your university and take that to the community college academic counselor, she/he will be definitely able to tell you exactly which credit would transfer (I assume that you should have no problems at all.)
