I need help with selling magazines?? middle school fundraiser??

So my middle school is selling magazines where you can renew them for cheaper for cheaper then the stand price. So i had a really good idea, i could call salons and see if they were interested. So i called them and i kept getting told no. I would say: Hi my name is carley lauer and ****** middle school is having a magazine fundraiser where you can purchase or renew magazines for cheaper then the stand price. Would you be interested in any?

You can order online from hundreds of tittles, all I need is an email to send it to."

Questions: What am i doing wrong?

should I see them in person?

What other places should I try?

P.s. the stores are local so they know of the school. And my goal is 10 orders
