  1. I will come and fix your sink but I expect a dinner in return is it a deal ?

try vise grips and remember rightie tightie lefty losey

  2. Cut 'em off.  If you can't get them off easily, they're not going to go back together either.  Also, If the house is more than 10-15 years old, it's pretty much gauranteed that the shutoff valves (where the pipes come out of the wall) wll be corroded, and won't completely close.  If the supply lines from the shutoff valves to the faucet are corrugated metal (like a chrome bendy-straw), you'll also have to replace the shutoff valve.  The bendy tube invariably cracks, and it's a single piece with the valve.  So plan on replacing everything from the shutoff valve up, including the shutoff valve.

  3. You need a bit of leverage. Invest in a small pipe wrench and place a cloth between the nut and wrench before adjusting the wrench to the tightest position.

    Works every time.

  4. I would just shut off the water, and cut the pipes.  Once the old sink is removed, it will be alot easier to access the plumbing pipes.  If the nuts are stripped, you will have a hard time with channel locks.  You may have to use two vice grips.  You always use two wrenches when taking plumbing apart.
