I need help with sleep easy question?

hey im 13 i go to bed around 11:30 wake up bout 8:00 i know its bad but when ever i try going to sleep anythime before i jsut cant i asked my mum she said try going bakc 20 mins aday take it slowly so like stay up till 11:30 then next day say 11:15 but it didt work and sleeping pills r not good im to young please any idears would be gr8 thxs =)

  1. warm milk, find a regular routine like taking a bath at the same time every night. A little exercise during the day would help too. No tv after 8 will help. Reading always puts me to sleep too. Something that will tell your brain that it is time to sleep. A regular routine would do the trick. Deep breathing, I know it sounds silly but I concentrate on relaxing every part of my body slowly from head to toe. You think you are relaxed until you put your mind to it and realize how relaxed you aren't. I also sing in my head a lullaby that I sing to my son, it seems to work.

  3. Try going for a swim a few hours before your preferred bedtime.

    That way you tire your muscles and you want sleep.
