Someone offered TJ Houshmandzadeh, Joseph Addai, and Felix Jones for Larry Fitz and Adrian Peterson. I'm the team with Peterson. Should I do it?

Also, someone offered me Roddy White and Chester Taylor for Roy Williams and Fred Taylor. I don't know what to do on this one either. It would be nice to have C. Taylor in case Peterson gets hurt, but I like R. Williams better than Roddy White.

Help please!!

  1. You say no to both.

AP is a top 2 RB and Fitz is a top 7 WR.  Housh is a top 10 WR and Addai is a top 5 RB.  Jones isn't enough to make up the difference.

Roddy White will be the #1 WR in Atlanta but they don't have a good QB.  C.Taylor would be nice to have but not at that price.

  2. The first trade is very close. Now, let's see, who's better TJ or fitz. I'd have to say TJ because he will be the main target by far with an unhappy chad johnson. But giving away AP is tough, he is on a team with a bad QB who is very unaccurate. They will run a lot, while the colts will most likely pass more than run unless something happens to peyton. I mean, they have targets of wayne, clark, maybe harrison, and gonzalez. So, if you decide to do the trade(which i probly wouldn't), tell your trading friend to take out felix jones, he's is behind marion barber, and all it does is take up room on your roster.

you bet on the second deal, Roy williams is very valuable and Fred taylor scores most of the rushing TDs for the jags, so he will be a nice backup, Roddy white is not all that good anyway, so i say definantly!!! Roy will get 1000+ yards for sure, but i don't think white will get more than 1000.

    I hope this helps

  3. Keep what you got.  You have the best players on your team so why trade?

  4. Do not trade Larry and Peterson!!  You are getting totally taken on that deal.

If you are looking for a trade, pull the trigger on the second one.  Roddy White put up 1000+ receiving yards and 6 TDs last year as the #2 option, and he had 3 different QBs throwing him the ball.  Look for his numbers to increase this year as the #1 option and little more stability at QB.  Since you have Peterson, Taylor would be a great handcuff option in case AP gets hurt again.  He missed a little time last season, and has not played an entire season since his Freshman year of college, I think?.

Fred Taylor is on the downhill. Jones-Drew gets the majority of the carries, especially at the goal line.  Taylor is a 3rd down back.  Roy Williams is a long shot because rumor is, Kitna has a better relationship with CJ.  CJ also has WAY more talent then Roy.

  5. Do the second trade. Roy Williams has struggled the past couple years and Roddy White is up and coming with Matt Ryan. Do not give up Adrian Peterson though..

  6. For sure no on the first one even thou its tempting because Addai is gonna tear it up.   I almost say yes to the second one only because Roddy should be good and Chester does back up AP if you keep him.   IF u do the first one thou then dont do the second one.    Roy should be better than Roddy but not by much.   I would say no to the first and yes to the second.

  7. I wouldn't do it.
