I need help with taking the mta 164 bus in burbank! more!?

i tried to take the mta 164 coming from victory way(right by the petco store) going east to 1st street/burbank media center... i went at wednesday around 6:15ish and waited for about thirty minutes. the bus didn't come!! the time table said it would come around at least once before thirty minutes was up.. what am i doing wrong?

due to heat in the Valley sometimes the buses break down

First of all I am assuming you were standing at the correct stop with the sign indicating the line #164 actually stops there. That being said, the MTA often runs chronically late especially during rush hours so leave early and be patient. Plus, remember on weekends and holidays the schedules are different. Good luck.
