I need help with tennis.?

I was wondering what, if any, the specific places are that you should stand when playing doubles tennis with a partner. Do they have to be right in front of me when i'm serving, and do i have to start out serving on the right side? i love tennis so i just need to know about court stances i guess?

what you are asking about is a playing style. it is HIGHLY recommended that your partner starts up at net on the other half of the court in order to close out a weak shot by the returner after you serve

as for the serving, regardless of it being doubles or singles, you are REQUIRED to serve on the deuce side (right)

When you are playing in doubles you choose a side to play.. For example you stay in right side your partner in left. While serving (you), you should begin from the right side and your partner should be standing in front of the net in the vole part.(but the opposite side of you-If you are serving from right he/she should be in left front).. And when your partner is serving you should be in front of the net on the opposite side of him/her.. But be careful, once when my partner was serving , she hit my neck and it hurt a lot!!! :)
