is it possible to transfer the videos from the Samsung SCL810 to a computer?

  1. The Samsung SCL810 is a Hi8 - analog - camcorder. There is no direct digital (USB or firewire/DV) port so there is no method to transfer video from the tape to a computer.

    You need the AV cables that came with the camcorder - and connect those to an analog/digital bridge like

    then the A/D bridge connects to your USB or firewire port.
