  1. Item 2.

    Per week , Anne spends 50 min * 4 = 200 minutes

    For 15 weeks, it is 200 * 15 = 3000 minutes

Now divide 3000 by 60 to get the number of hours = 50 hours

    Item 3

Same reasoning as 2 . Answer is between $61800 to $70200

  2. 2.) 4 homeworks/week multiplied by 15 = 60 homeworks total.

60 homeworks multiplied by 50 minutes = 3000 minutes or 50 hours or

                                   2.08 days

3.) the problem here is vague.. so i just took the average from 1030 to 1170.

1100 (average salary) multiplied by 15 workers multiplied by 4 weeks

         = $66000

  3. The first question. Multiply the 50 minutes by the 4 to be done each wee, then by the 15 weeks.

the second question multiply both the $1030 and $1170 by the 15 workers and then by the 4 weeks. This will give you a range of low to high totals.
