I need help with this English assignment

I am supposed to write a description about myself so my teacher can get to know me. I need to include my family, hobbies, and my favorite subject, and anything that interests me. I need to use creative and descriptive words. I don't want to start it like My name is blah blah but i don't know how else too. should i start it like this,

I am seventeen years old and my name is John Doe. I live in Pond Creek, Ok. My family is small. I live with my Dad and my dog Gweni Vella. I am Mexican American.

or like this

Hello I am John Doe. I live in Pond Creek with my dad and my dog Gweni Vella. My mother and two sisters passed away in a car accident ten years ago. I am Mexican America and I am bilingual.

okay, the way you suggested to begin the paper is way too typical, and teachers love to hear a unique twist on this very ordinary assignment.

you could possibly start the paper as this:

"Every year when I come back to school, you have to write your teacher a personal narritive describing who you are. Well, I could say my name is John Doe, I'm 17 and I live in Pond Creek, Ok. But there's so much more to me than a name and an age. I'm a mexican american from a small family, since my mother and two sisters passed away in a car accident ten years ago. Right now, I live with my dad and my dog Gweni Villa-" and talk about your life in vivid detail.

add a detail in addition to that accident and your life right now, and introduce them as totally new paragraphs, so it's long.

and write about every aspect and emotion of it, because that's what teacher's really love.
