this is the question,

"lucy called liinda on her day off?"

which one would be the best answer?

A. the antecedent of the pronoun is unclear?

b. it has two subjects?

c. the verb called is irregular?

d. we dont know what the word called actually means.

  1. The answer would be A. the antecedent of the pronoun is unclear. We can't identify which of the two girls called on HER day off. The reference of the pronoun "her" is unclear.

    Letter B can't be the answer since the subject is just all about Lucy.

    Letter C can't be the answer as well since "called" is a regular verb with "call" as its root word.

    Letter D is a funny comment about the question.

The answer A would be the best answer.  because we can actully know what the word called mean in letter D.  and it only have one subject so B is wrong.  And the word called is not irregular so C is wrong too.  A would be the best answer.  If this help you please choose this as the best answer. thank you.
