I need help with this letter please!?

Question

I am writing a letter to college(s) asking for an application. What is the correct format?

(ex. if my name, address, etc. is in the upper left corner.)

①Ok,you write your name, address etc, and date in the upper right corner

②Leave about 2 lines,and write the receiver's address (from your left, beginning with the receiver's title)i.e

To: ......(position NOT person's name)

Address;

③Greeting

④Ref:

⑤body (whatever you have to say) & Ending (like, looking forward to... ,yours faithfully etc )

⑥Sign off with your Name

I think this should work, it works for me. Anyway, if there are any other options, compare before you select. BUT this is the most formal pattern. Good luck.
