It's about graphing, I uploaded a picture of it. So basically what I'm asking is, how would it look on a graph?

  1. The graph is a straight line.

    Graph two points.

    The first point is (0,6) , it's a y-intercept

    to graph the second point, starting from the first point, move 6units up and 5 units to the right (because slope is positive 6 over positive 5).

    Connect both points, here is your graph

  2. Begin at 6 on the y axis (so start at (0,0) and move up six units. Then you move up 6 and over 5 spaces. Make a dot. Repeat.

  3. Here I have it,... i drew it too

    ....whoa...im looking back at your quesstions and you have ALOT of math questions..

  4. Yes, 1 and 1 equals 2.

  5. Just read your notes, remember what the teacher told, look at your book, and don't  CHEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

  6. simply find 2 point

    x=0 => y= 6. we have 1 point A(0;6)

    if y=0 => x= - 5. other point B(-5;0)

    plot A and B, connect 2 dots, that's all

  7. I'd say it would look purty good.  Go for it.

  8. I am calling my sister she will know it

    will get back to you soon

  9. y=mx+b so, your y intercept would be whatever b is. So first, go up "b" blocks. then, m is a fraction, so if the fraction is a/b, you'll do rise over run, or a up or down, and b left or right (starting from b.

  10. You just gotta do it! Plug in a value for Y, and then solve the equation for x. Make a few points, and you'll start to see how it looks.

  11. It will be a stright line with a slope of 6/5 and y intercept of 6..

    I know this will help..

  12. It would be in Quadrant 1, and it would start at (0,6). Then it would be a line that went through (5,12), (10,18)...etc.

    y = 6/5x+6 <------- Equation for a line

    Always start at (0,6), because 6/5(0)+6. Then try and see what will cancel out 6/5. So try 5, which will make 6/5(5) = 6 , then add 6 = 12

    makes it (5,12) . Basically use the slope intercept formula

    y = mx+b, m being the slope(6/5), and b(6) being the y intercept.
