  1. (6x^4y)^-1(4x^8y^3)

    = [1/(6x^4y)][4x^8y^3]

    = 4x^8y^3/6x^4y

    = (4/6)(x^8/x^4)(y^3/y)

    = [2/3][x^(8 - 4)][y^(3 - 1)]

    = [2/3][x^4][y^2]

    = 2x^4y^2/3

  2. = 4x^8y^3/(6x^4y) = 3x^4y^2/2

  3. (6x^4 y)^-1 (4x^8 y^3)

    (1/(6x^4 y))*((4x^8 y^3)/1)

    (4x^8 y^3) / (6x^4 y)

    (2x^4*y^2)/3

    2/3*x^4*y^2

  4. A negative exponent turns a number into its reciprocal.

    For example

    2^-2 = 1/2^2 = 1/4

    (6x^4 y)^-1 (4x^8 y^3) =

    4x^8y^3 / 6x^4y =

    2x^4y² / 3

    or

    2/3 x^4y²

  5. lol getting ur homework answers eh. smart i shud so du tht

  6. If you will further explain what needs to be done, then this looks like a very simple problem. However, without any further instructions on what to do next, my solution is as good as anyone else's.
