  1. when multiplying surds, mulyiply only what is under the sqrt sign by only what is under the sqrt sign. what is out by what is out.

in no. 11, if everything is under the sqrt sign, the answer is

    sqrt 99a^11b^11.

    no. 12

    (kxk) sqrt (2x3)

    k^2sqrt6

    13

    the 3 applies to both

    =3sqrt 2 + 3 sqrt 6

    14nd 15, same story

  2. sqrt 33a^11b^11 times sqrt 3

    can't do much to this

    √ (99a^11b^11)

    k sqrt 2 times k sqrt 3

    k²√6

    3(√2 + √6)

    3(√2 + √(3*2))

    3√2(1+√3)

    4(2√2+3√2)

    4√2(2+3)

    20√2

    √2(3√2 - 5√2)

    √2*√2(3 - 5)

    2(3 - 5)

    -4
