does anyone know if i can purchase a amtrak train ticket from a metro north train station? and if so how would i go about it?

Only it's a manned station and an Amtrak train stops there

You know, don't you, that you can order Amtrak tickets on their website and have them mailed to you?

I would suggest calling them and asking them. Also, you can call Amtrak and buy a ticket over the phone with a credit card.
