I need help with transferring to a different school!

Question

I live in Maine and want to transfer to a different school.

One of my parents work in the school district that I want to transfer to. I was wondering if it is possible to transfer.

(The school district I go to currently really sucks)

As a former grade-school teacher, I believe that students should be able to attend whatever school they want so long as they are still receiving a good education. it also helps that one of your parents works for that school district because then you won't need to move to get into that school district legally. If you have friends that currently go to that school district you could try using their address

The fact that your parent works in the school district will definately help.  My moms friend taught at a school and was able to have her son go there even tho it was on the other end of town from where they lived.
