OK, Tuesday I will be heading to NYC, Times square. Now I also want to check out China Town, and I want to find a good parking area, or garage. Now, I haven't been to NYC in a looooooooong time. I forgot where China Town is, and also Canal street... How should I plan this day? Park in Jersey City some where, take the subway, then hit china town, then times square? I also want to ht Rockafeller where the fountain is, or where the Christmas tree would be placed.. What street is it on? I need help from where to park, traveling to China Town then TS.. etc... How shall I do this? Or the best way to do all of this. I hope y'all understand what I am trying to say..

    This will help you.

However, driving and parking in Chinatown is not recommended.

Parking there is much chaos and traffic is always worth, especially along Canal St.

It's best thing to find parking garages outside Chinatown.

  2. My friend, park you car in either Jersey City or Hoboken, NJ and then take the PATH train in to Manhattan. The link below has location of parking facilities near PATH train stations in both Jersey City and Hoboken. My advice call the garages for the best rates.

Park Garages near PATH Train stations

    Grove Street Station

    Exchange Place Station

    Pavonia/Newport Station

    Hoboken Station

    Journal Square

Once you parked your car in Jersey City or Hoboken, take the PATH train to the World Trade Center and then transfer to the New York City subway. Take the uptown (northbound) "A", "C" or "E" trains (Blue Line) from Chambers Street-WTC to Canal Street, where Chinatown is located.

From Chinatown, you can take any northbound subway line to Times Square.

I hope this information is very helpful.

Good luck and enjoy your trip.
