I need help with uploading pics from my digital camera onto iPhoto. it's an iMac thing... help, please?

so there's this application on my iMac called iPhoto and everytime i've tried [and succeeded] uploading photos they've uploaded there, but this time it isnt working. my camera says 'connected to computer' but the pictures aren't even uploading. i've never had this problem before.

check the prefs u might of turned off auto upload and have to move them to ur comp manually
