  1. how about orange, lavender and white!

    hope i helped!

  2. tbh i dont think those colors would go..how about a duck egg blue and cappacino or else go for a bright peacock blue and tone it down with a contrasting pastel color..that way you get one of each!

  3. my cousin had a pink wedding (she designed the entire thing around this dress she fell in love with) - bridesmaids wore bright pink strapless dresses, the bride wore a white strapless gown with a pale pink band across the waist, and a pale pink underdress (she loves pink, but she wanted to be a bride in white as well)

they had things like tablecloths in the pale pink, with bright pink decorations.

maybe use pastel colours, with some bright colours mixed in as decorations!

  4. you could do a pool blue and a pastel blue and accent it all with different shades of greenery.

  5. So do a pastel and a bright color! Lime green and pastel yellow...Or bright pink (not hot pink) and pastel pink...or with whatever colors you like...I'm doing purple and lavender!

  6. Use the pool blue, with soft coral. The coral is a brighter color, and it even would satisfy a pastel lover, and would be a great summer combination.

  7. why not some kind of aquamarine, kinda like Tiffany's boxes and some beige or light cream...?

Or bright blue like Royal blue and powder blue....

  8. I generally say that mom has no right to dictate YOUR dream Wedding, but if she is paying for it, at least give her a little responsibility.

I would sit mom down, and tell her you are passionate about "fuchsia" (or whatever color you choose) and you would like to incorporate that into the Wedding to personalize it and make it special.  Then ask her to help find things that would work with your color theme - she will love the challenge!

Also, a nice compromise might be a sky blue and sun yellow theme for a Summer wedding!  Men in seersucker, and bridesmaids in lemon yellow.  The decor can be crisp white with sky blue as the main accent and hint of yellow throughout.  Mom might like this traditional look, and you will have a bright original Wedding!

    Good Luck

  9. Maybe the two of you can go shopping together and find colors you like. Look at fabric samples to see what matches.

  10. What about pastel pink or a lemon colour ?

  11. How about teel?Thats such a beautiful colour!

  12. even IF your mom is helping pay for it; why does she get to choose what colors you pick ?  It's your wedding not hers.

  13. RED WITH WHITE XD

  14. How about this. Pick a bright color and ask your mom to pick a pastel color that will work well with the bright color you suggested. This way you both get what you wanted.

  15. You choose one colour, your mother choose one colour.

    Good luck!

  16. Compromise with her. Tell her she can wear any color she wants but you would please like your colors for flowers and decorating. Most moms do not want to wear some outlandish color or style for the wedding. they want to wear something that is stylish and flattering. I am thinking your mom is afraid she is going to be in some lime mess for a dress.
