  1. Office Depot, craft stores, etc. sell wedding programs that you can slide through your own printer at home.  We were making minor tweaks to our order of ceremony and songs up until a couple weeks before so we couldn't have had them printed ahead anyway.

    Good luck!

  2. With even minimal computer skills, I'd suggest creating your own, then having them printed by Office Depot or Staples and the like.

I've compared prices on like items and saved around 63% by doing the text myself and proceeding from there.

Edit: If your computer doesn't have satisfactory scripts and fonts, you might readily find someone who has them. Another suggestion: many computer traders, used CD and vid. game shops and Craigslist have VERY inexpensive program discs one could install and  use for this, and other purposes.

At a yard sale, for $3 I bought a program similar to this that includes over 100,000 pictures that can be used.

One further thought, as proposed by another user just below me. Do away with that altogether, and YES, have your emcee or DJ do that sort of thing.

I've DJ-ed dozens of weddings where this was part of my obligation. Type up the agenda , provide advance notice of said obligations and have the assigned person take up this very simple task.

Pardons to the person below upon whose original thought I enlarged upon.

  3. Here's my advice - from someone who just got married - skip the programs all together! They just end up in the garbage. People know they are there for a wedding ceremony, a program is not necessary, just costs more money. Save yourself the couple hundred bucks and treat you and your new husband to a special night out on your honeymoon!!!

  4. I'm a graphic designer and I made mine you can see them below. It cost me less than $10 for the card stock to print them. They aren't complete because I don't have all the details worked out but you get the idea.

I made mine in Photoshop - you can actually download a trial version for free and make them or try Paintshop Pro trial (also free).  You can use Open Office as well but you can probably make them much better in a graphics program.  Or you can buy a print shop program like this one http://desktop-publishing-software-revie...
