  1. Pull ups!  Insist he wears them when he rests.

  2. don't let him drink anything before he goes to bed...he might have a weak bladder as well..in which case medical attention might be necessary

  3. don't let him drink a lot and make him wear pull ups if he does not stop tell him that big boys don't pee the bed and give him a time out or something when he does. i once had this same problem i just gave her a time out and put pull ups on her till she stopped after a little while of training she stopped you just have to stay on him about it. good luck!!!!!

  4. put a diaper on him. either he will pee in the diaper or he will go to the restroom so he doesnt have to wear a diaper.

    good luck!

  5. This is a problem don't let him drink ANYTHING an hour before he goes to sleep. Try putting a Pull-Up on him. We did that with my little sister when she was  3+4 and almost 5. We put pull ups on her and we even put a plastic sheet under where she slept and she finally quit urinating on the bed and learned to get up by herself and go to the bathroom. All kids have accidents and sometimes they have to be handled in darastic measures and others in simple measures. In this case its simple put a plastic sheet under where he lays down to sleep and a pull up if he will wear one. If he refuses to wear it then tell him that he is going to have to learn to get up  and go to the potty by himself and everytime he does not urinate on the bed you put a sticker on his "potty calender".

  6. Its normal... consider the fact that many kids aren't potty trained until they are nearly 3 years old... he's only been going to the toilet for a year or so now most likely.  I'd suggest using Pampers 'GoodNites' when you get there-- they are pull-ups for bigger kids.  I believe there is also a brand called 'under jammers' as well (possible name change from GoodNites?).  This will contain any early morning accidents.  Give the kid a break... he's still learning, and his bladder isn't fully developed yet!

  7. I don't know of any other nearly 5 year olds still having day time naps.  Despite popular belief, bed wetting is quite common in children (especially boys) up to 8 years of age.  Just remember not to make him feel bad about the problem its not his fault.

  8. or he's just a strong sleeper, and doesn't notice.

    read the 2nd link.

what this means is that it's not his fault.

just change the sheets and his clothes.

sometimes it takes several years before he grows out of it.

    clearly it's not intentional.

he can't stop any more than you can stop thinking it's gross.

  9. Make the little b*****d clean it up himself.
