I need help with wfc trading?

Question

how does it really work i go to the bottom of a pokémon center and i select trade over wfc than with a friend but what do have to do? i know my fc and i really need the event pkmn ho-oh and lugia to complete my dex...

basicly how does nintendo wfc work?

It is much easier to trade with strangers than friends.  first you go to the city with the tv station and go to the south end of the city (bottom of the screen). then go west (left) you should frnd an alley some where with some one asking you your favorite type. keep going and you will find a blue building. go inside and talk to the lady at the desk. if you are connected to wfc, then you wil be able to trade a particoular pokemon for another particular pokemon. it works much better than you might think.
