  1. ok.. well so your account is just limited and your sister is the administrator and you need those "only administrator can do things"

but your sister forgot her pass word...ok you can change the password of the administrator account even if your account is limited but you will not know the original password, ok here's the link... I really hope this can help you, and goodluck on that...

  2. There's a couple options.  If no one ever set a password for the built in administrator account then you can start Windows in safe mode and log in with the user name "Administrator" (no quotes) and no password.  If there is a password set for the administrator account then things get a bit more complicated.

To reset the administrator password to a blank password you can use a Linux tool (scary huh?).  What's even more scary is that you have to do it from a command line.  Really though it isn't that hard, and you don't even need to install Linux to do it.

In a nut shell you have to download Linux (Ubuntu is the easiest I think), burn it to a CD, then start your computer with the CD in.  That will being you into Linux then you just have to type a couple simple commands and presto, the administrator account on XP won't have a password anymore.

If you think you need to reset the password feel free to email me from my profile and I'll fill you in.

    Good luck =)

[edit] Oh yeah, the safe mode method...  Almost forgot...  To get into Windows safe mode you need to restart the computer and then when it's starting keep pressing F8 over and over again until it brings up the "Windows Advanced Options Menu".  Use the arrow keys to select "Safe Mode" and press enter.  Now when Windows starts you'll be able to log in to the administrator account with no password (if one hasn't been set) and from there you can give yourself administrator privileges and/or set up more user accounts.
