I need help with windows service pack 2?

I can't use itunes because I don't have the right version of quicktime, I can't download the right quicktime because I need windows xp service pack 2, I have no idea what to do to get it or how to get it. any advice?

You actually should be XP SP 3.

Go to Internet Explorer > Tools > Windows Update.

Repeat this process until there are no more updates to do (probably about 3 or 4 reboots from where your at).

After that, you should be good to go!!!

One important thing is the fact that you should completely update the Operating System and ALL of the patches.  If your machine is patched for the vulnerability on the HD, then YOU cannot get infected.  It is the more proactive approach (patching your machine, keeping your software updated, using the most current firmware and drivers).  AV is ALWAYS reactive!

You should have the windows update configured to automatically update your system!!!
