  1. when i was there, we went to the catacombs. its this underground burial site with wall to wall skeletons. it was really interesting.

  2. People have a different view on ''fun things'' though.

In my opinion there is nothing fun what so ever about walking around museums all day....... looking at the Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower...... 5 minutes and im done...... walking along a river......... eating over priced food in silly little cafes that they have in every single city in the world....... to me there is nothing fun in Paris.

Ok maybe im too ignorant to realise the true meaning behind 'history, architecture and culture' etc. but to tell you the truth i can go to Paris for 1 weekend.... and it would cost the same amount of money that it would cost me to go to Spain for almost 2 weeks..... where there are theme parks, water parks, beaches with all kinds of water sports, beautiful hot weather, equally good food and drink, much friendlier people......... so for me its not the answer you wanted but in my opinion Paris is probably the most UN-FUN city ive ever visited in my life.

  3. Paris...Big boulevards and beautiful museums. I don't know if you would call that fun, but Rodin's museum on a small street with breathtaking beauty of Camille Claudel's statues next to Rodin's, the charming little museum with Monet's paintings in the central park- forgot its name, certainly the Louvre, modern art museums and many more. Walking & shopping in the Champs Elysées, picturesque Montmartre on a nice hill with historical little center, beautiful Notre Dame by the water, cafes in Saint Germain, one can enjoy all these for days!

  4. Well obviously the Eiffel Tower, it was one of the first things I did in Paris!

The catacombs are really cool, kinda creepy, but still pretty interesting!

Berthillon has the BEST ice cream!

For picnic lunches and people watching- Luxembourg Gardens

Place Georges Pompidou has great street performers (mimes, jugglers, etc.)

Some people don't like visiting museums and whatnot but I love art and architecture and history so I made sure to visit...

    Arc de Triomphe

Musée du Louvre (Art museum with Mona Lisa etc.)

    Notre Dame

    Le Pantheon

    and the list goes on....

The Latin Quarter has great second hand bookstores and delicious bistros, especially on the side streets!

    Good luck writing your paper!

  5. I actually went to Paris last spring, and  I thought it was amazing! I went witrh a school program and we were able to do so much: go to the Louvre, Versailles, Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, and a boat ride along the Seine. But besides all the museums and historical stuff, just being in Paris was amazing. The food, the people; the overall culture and energy there are all worth while.

  6. You could take a CIty Segway Tour.  I haven't done it but it sounds really cool.  Riding a segway all over the city while a guide tells you interesting facts.  Here is a website where those who have done it give their opinion:
