I need help writing fundraising letters.

I need help to raise as much money as I possibly can in order to play for a local AAU/travel baseball team, which will give me exposure to college and pro scouts for an opportuniy to get a scholarship. I've already written as many letters to family and friends as I can, but now I want to write some to some local businesses. Who would I address the letter to. I don't want one of the employees to get recieve it because they will most likely think nothing of it. Any suggestions or other ideas to help me raise money is greatly appreciated.

Call all of the local businesses in your area and ask for the name and address of the owner.

Also Wal-marts and franchised markets are a good place to ask.

Write to the Wal-mart closest to you and address it to the regional manager that you have asked for the name and address of.

Having a car wash or selling lottery tickets is also a good way.
