My brother built a nice custom box for me but made 2 12" holes but i have two 10" subs. Does anyone know a solution to fix this problem. I know you can make "rings to fit around" I really need a place to buy them from because my brother is being stuborn. Please answer with a product name, a place to get it, and a price value.

  1. he should cut out two squares larger than the holes and make new smaller holes in it and just mount it over the old holes, remember to seal it up tight just like the box itself so that it does not leak

  2. plywood lowes 20$

  3. Just buy a big enough piece of MDF to go over the front of the box and cut two new 10" holes its not that expensive for the smaller pieces at Lowe's or Home Depot

  4. depending on how nice the box is it might be better to sell the 10s and get 12s

    check out my system

  5. MDF(Medium Denisty Fiberboard)...like the other answer jus put a peice over the front covering the two 12'' holes or if you know how to seal the box you can take the peic of wood with the 12'' holes off and replace it...not hard either way
