Question:

I need helping making 12" subwoofer holes into a10" subwoofer holes.?

I own two rockford 10" subs. My brother built my box and accidently cut for 12" subs. I dont want a new box or new subs but i heard you can buy "rings" to fit the 10" subs in . Does anyone lnow what he's talking about. If so plesase answer with a website, product name, and approximate price. If anyone has any other advice please tell me.

  2. thats what my uncle accidently did for me,,,same thing,i tried em,,,they fell out,,the subs then i had to buy new ones i just suggest you go to walmart and get 2 10" sub sealed boxes,,,,trust me,them rings to hold the sub,aint worth a d**n man.

  3. i recommend using a piece of 3/4 inch plywood and cutting a 14inch by 10 inch diameter ring. painting it the same color as the box and by pre drilling the ring us as many screws as possiable. use glue to avoid vibration noise good luck

  4. listen to judylsman

    you need a couple inches of overlap and make new hole, you will need to seal the S**t out of it so that it does not leak just like the regular edges

  5. Easy fix...put a piece of wood cut the same size over the incorrect one with the correct opening and recarpet it.
