Alright, so I just got my sidekick phone and its not working, i put in the battery and my sim card and it went to a screen it says Waiting to Register for Data Services..but im not getting the plan until later and it also says a welcome screen will appear within 24 hours after purchase.

I dont gett ittt,,did anybody have any problems like this with their sidekick? please help mee..

Well dear it all depends on what model you got. Sidekicks normally hold up well. I still have my sidekick II and it works fine. But I don't think the newer ones are as good as the I II AND III becuase they are making them slim, smaller, and making some of them slide. I don't think this holds up as well as the regular big ones that just spin up. Here is what you do. You go into T-Mobile and tell them your problem-This happened with the phone I got before my sidekick-Tell them you are still withen warenty and they will send you a new one with no charge but you have too send the old one back too the adress that the new one came from and bam you have a new one and it didn't cost you anything (:

You need a phone plan in order for the phone to work. Same thing happened with mine. Hope I helped!
