  1. The Airbus, any model/make, is a comfortable and safe aircraft. Seats are spacious and comfortable, and depending on the airline, the on board service can make your flight really memorable. I wish you an enjoyable and safe flight.

  2. If you are over 6 feet tall, then it will not be too comfy. The aircraft is large, but they pack the seats in.

I hope you have an aisle seat, that way you can get up often and not bother anyone else.

Take  a good book with you for a distraction. Maybe you can take a nap. I can't sleep on an airplane, myself.

International carriers used to serve free adult beverages, while U.S. carriers charge about 4 Euro.

  3. They are just fine.  Relax and enjoy your flight.  You will be comfortable.

  4. My friend said its very nice and comfortable

  5. Do a google search on the plane once you find the plane then do a regular search on the plane, it should show you the plane and what its like. It should also give you information on what it is like. That link will give you all the specifics you need. Good Luck

  6. I think that the only airline that flies from Ireland to Canada using A310s is Air Transat. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Going on that assumption, I can tell you a bit about Air Transat's A310s. I flew on one from Toronto to Athens, Greece a few weeks ago.

Technical information about the plane can be found here: http://www.airtransat.ca/en/7_3_1.asp and the seating plan can be found here: http://www.airtransat.ca/en/A_310_300.as...

A310s are relatively big. Air Transat's can hold 259 passengers in a 3 - 3 - 3 layout (meaning that there are 3 seats, then an aisle, then a middle 3 seats, then another aisle, and then the final 3 seats) They've got just over 30 rows. Although, this is smaller than a lot of the other planes that are used for trans-Atlantic flights such as the A330 or the B777.

They were pretty comfortable, although since Transat is a charter airline, the seat pitch (distance between the seats) is a little smaller than some of the regular airlines. Transat only has TV's in the middle of the aircraft so you don't get a choice on what movies you want to watch. But when I flew on them recently, the movies were pretty good.

It kind of sucks if you get stuck in a middle seat, but that's the case for all airlines and aircraft. The food on Transat was decent as well.

Overall, not a bad experience. Have a good flight!
