I need ideas for a 13th birthday party?

i was thinking a camp out in the back yard with takeaways but what sort of games is there for teens?

There's lots you can do!

Set up a volleyball net and play volleyball and badmitten!

Have waterballoon fights

Get an inflatable kiddie pool and fill it with water.  Break into 2 teams and have a tug of war, the losing team ends up in the pool.

Relay races, potato sack races, three legged races, etc.

Set up an ice cream bar.  Get chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream and some toppings. Sprinkles, chocolate syrup, whippeed cream, and marachino cherries.  Have everyone make their own sundaes.  You can get the tall plastic sundae glasses at the dollar store, or the waffle cone bowls at the grocery store.

You can also do charades and board games and play trivia games.  Things like "what would you do" and would you rather" truth or dare and just have each person come up with questions and then put them in a container and then each person pick one out and either everyone have to answer it, or just that person that picked it.

You can also get a pinata! Everyone likes candy and you can get one you like and in the same aisle there's what's called pinata filler, it's big bags of candy to fill them with.  You can even pick out your own favorite candy and add that to it too.

Dress up Contest: Divide up into teams and choose one person to be the dress-up "dummy." Use old clothes, scarves, glasses, shoes, and anything else that you can place on another person's body to dress up your "dummy." Make your "dummy" as funny and creative as possible. The funniest "dummy" is the winner.

Balloon War. This requires teams being divided up evenly. Each team has a certain color balloon for each member. Then they try to capture, or burst, the other teams' balloons. The one with the most balloons is the winner, or the least amount left is the loser. But always remember, there are no losers at a birthday party. Give both teams a prize just for playing along. (if it is summer you can use water balloons)

Name that song.  Make a tape or CD of popular pop song parts and see who can guess what the song is.

you could ask your friends what they would like and then have a vote by the way whens your birthday

depends on if it's a girls or boys party. For girls you can do a spa type thing where you make your own homemade masks do each others hair and nails. for guys you could do a big huge water fight with balloons and guns and then camp out for either of them. If you use a little charcoal stove, you can roast marshmallows late at night
