  1. Some good suggestions for you -

Invite some of her close friends over for a sleepover and like let them watch movies up late and stuff. If you give your girl more freedom, then her friends will grow to like her more, and she'll also show you that she can be mature enough to do on her own.

Well... you say she loves shopping. I don't know whether that would be a great idea because of the cost of things, but you could invite 4-5 girls over and go to a mall with a theatre, watch a movie, and maybe check out the stores later. Or you could go to a candy store and maybe let the girls select some candy for a 'snackover' in the night. I know from experience that girls this age would not like games and 'open' birthdays with like the whole class coming. The friends you invite over could have a pool bbq (this is a gr8 success)

Hope you find something to do in these tips

    Bye!

  2. Shaving cream fight!!  Snip the short nozzles off...sprays better.  Very fun.  Maybe not for girls though...you never know.  and its cheap!

  3. why not have a build your own dinner party?

set up a pizza bar, including sauce, grated chease, peperoni, veggies. and give everyone personal sized dough (which can be quite cheap when bought with a kit) let everyone go wild and thier own things, its a ton of fun, and it allways turns out yummy.

you could do the same things but make tacos, which are also delicious.

if its your birthday you could have everyone decorate cupcakes. if not, you could set up a sundae bar, which are allways a blast, or bake cookies.

once your pizzas are ready head to the basement chill and watch some movies. im sure this would take away any awkward ness, seeing as everytime i do it all there is are laughs! =]

another thing you may want to consider is chocolate fondu, allways fun, and keeps people talking. everyone has fun when theres food around!

  4. Do a 'dress as your favourite celebrity' theme. Have games like how much can you put in a bag in 1 minute and stuff like that

  5. Last year for my eldest daughter I did a "spykids party" that was a huge success. I issued black backpacks and fingerprinted all the kids when they arrived. It was a training school. And I had different centers setup and after completion of a center they got something spy related for their backpack. That ended up being their grab bags. The kids all loved it. I have a very girly-girl and she thought it was fantastic. The kids all still had the backpacks.

This year, I'm doing a "Girls Rock Star Party". I've got a giant Hannah Montana wall cling and a bunch of things planned. She might like one of the ideas.

  6. yeah i think every girl likes girlie nights in. I'm saying what most people have said - have a sleepover., dvds, play dress up, make overs, KARAOKE is good xD dance mats etc get them a pizza and fill bowls up with crisps, sweets.. although watch they're not sick! lol .. make sure to have a camera or even better a video camera so they can make a 'birthday video' which will be fun for them and you can get the film copied so they all have a keepsake! and my personal fave is just loads of balloons - they make me feel happy plus i like suckin the helium outta them =)

hope i helped and good luck =)

  7. Have a sleep over or something and do girly stuff like make overs or something. Sorry I'm not much help.

  8. Movie night (oriental trading)

    Luau (oriental trading)

    Candy theme

    Neon/Glow in the dark.

    Pink zebra

  9. Appletini and caviar.

  10. well,

you could have a sleepover with her closest friends where they watch movies, order pizza, eat candy and have a no parents night.

    11 year olds LOVE that.

if not you can have a beach party with a volleyball net set up.

    a pool party maybe?

    good luck hope i've helped

  11. Well, it depends on how much space you have available. Do you live in a house, an apartment, do you want an indoor or an outdoor thing? Not enough information to give you much. But I guess a make-over party might be an idea. You know, the girls could try out new hairstyles, make up each others faces etc. Play their favourite CDs, put out some party food and let them have fun. Don't know if that helps, but there it is. Good luck.

  12. How about a pampering party.    Have all the girls come over for a sleepover.     Have differenty types of nail polishes and stickets and rhinestones for manicures and pedicures.     smelly lotions.   cucumbers for the eyes.  mud masks.     make-up for makeovers.    digital cameras for before and after photos.  Serve little tea sandwiches, tea cakes, non-alcoholic drinks in cool glasses.

Cheerleading party.    Ask the counselor for the names of a couple of girls  on the cheerleading squad.   Pay the girls to come over with a couple of cheers to teach the girls.    Be sure to get a copy of the music so they can practice afterwards.    Buy the craft supplies to make their own hair ties.

Hire a belly dancer to come over to your home and give a demonstration.    Let her know that it's for a group of young girls so that she can tailor a routine that's age appropriate.   Video tape their efforts so that each girl can have a copy as a party favor.

Rent a party room at a local roller skating rink or ice skating rink.   At the ice skating rink, you can ususally have one of the attendants give a ice skating lesson if none of the girls know how to ice skate.

In the past it's worked well for me to bake cupcakes ahead of time and let the girls decorate them with whatever type of frosting and decorations they like.     The kids seem to really like making their own.
