  1. There are all kinds of cool songs for kids, and if your kids are as eager as mine to show show off, having a concert is a great idea. I have included a link to a page we get a lot of our songs from. Being unhappy with the day care,I have opted for a stay at home sitter who spends a lot of one on one time teaching my child who will be 4 this week. she can write all of her numbers and letters, and I have noticed she really enjoys learning through music. i hope this helps.

  2. The best music for small children is classical.  I use to play Rossini's William Tell Overture for my sons when that age.....they loved it and use to run around the livingroom dancing to the music!  You could pick out several other selections too like Mozart's Eine kleine Nachtmusik, Piano Sonata No. 16 and Horn Concerto No. 4.  Also, Handel's Hallelujah Chorus or Beethoven's Ode to Joy.  Kids love it, parents recognize and appreciate it, plus the brain power this beautiful music provides for young children is unmatched.  Provide the children with percussion instruments like bells and triangles and have a blast.  Good luck!

  3. Keep it simple. Have them sing songs like twinkle twinkle, if you're happy and you know it, this old man, and wiggle your waggles away.

  4. You could do a "spring fling" concert and either offer it to the parents or offer it at a local elderly home. Our kids loved it. We sang basic songs but included musical insturments. Good Luck!!

  5. What about a Nursery Rhyme theme concert

or the kids favorite songs they like to sing at circle time.
