I need ideas for a creative alternative to going to a restaurant before prom. Something to impress my date!?

My friend and I are planning a really special night for our dates but we are kinda drawing a blank when it comes to a creative and unique alternative to dinner at a restaurant. Any ideas will be appreciated!

if you have a nice backyard, try a candelight dinner outside with tons of candles and loose rose petals all over the table...very romantic, and of course will impress her.....
