I need ideas for a fun, upbeat speech for my mother inlaw's 75th surprise birthday party that I am throwing.?

I like her but I really don't have an stories that stick out about her. Does anyone know of a web site that has free speeches. I don't want the speech to be too long or too short....just right. Or if anyone has any speeches that I could use and modify I would be most appreciative.

Any speech from a website would be very impersonal.  Maybe you could just do a slideshow of photos of special moments and her family ...  A great theme for the party would be Big Band Era, since she was a teenager during the late 40's.  Most people always love the music they listed to as teenagers.......

I was thinking though it might be fun to have everyone, when they arrive early, to write down a thought or funny story about her.  If you have time, during dinner perhaps, read and compile.  I am sure that someone there will have killer stories that will make the whole crowd smile, as well as some heart-warming things to say.  Maybe you could even include something in the invite to get early responses.  Basically, let the guests write it!
