  1. Peanut butter and honey(or jelly) sandwiches with a peice of fruit .  Pretzels or chips.


  2. refrigeration is found in ice packs -this will give you more options.  sandwiches, cereal with milk, and allowing the child to help pack meals is a bonus.

    I give her Welch P@J, you get them in the freeze

    I give her 100 calorie packs, never with chocolate or anything that melts

    I give her a juice box

  5. crackers with peanutbutter, apple (not sliced, if its sliced it'll get brown in the heat), orange, little debbie snacks (whichever one your child prefers), goldfish, juicebox.

    basically anything that you can store in the pantry.

    INGREDIENTS

    2 tablespoons mayonnaise

    1 tablespoon prepared horseradish

    1 tablespoon prepared mustard

    1 tablespoon chopped onion

    8 slices rye or sourdough bread

    8 slices fully cooked ham

    4 slices Swiss cheese

    In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, horseradish, mustard and onion; mix well. Spread on four slices of bread. Layer with ham and cheese; top with remaining bread.

    mix all together and store in zip lock bag

    Chocolate Butterscotch Cookies

    1 (18.25 ounce) package chocolate cake mix

    1/2 cup vegetable oil

    2 eggs

    2 cups butterscotch chips

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    Combine cake mix, oil and eggs in a large bowl. Add butterscsotch chips and mix well.

    Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.

    Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until the center is just set. Let stand 2 minutes.

    Remove to wire rack to cool completely.

  10. Fresh fruit, fruit cups, fruit snacks in the pack, they now make jello that doesn't need to be refrigerated. Peanutbutter and jelly, veggies, cold cut roll ups as long as no mayo is being used. You can do a pasta salad. Crackers, cookies, they make wonder 100 calorie packs now in just about every kind of snack food.
