  1. I just had one of these too! ( first graders) face painting, bird feeders made out of gourds, decorate a cheap flower pot with paint, let the put in some seeds to watch grow to, kids love dirt! We did an earth day them sorta. dessert- earth worm pie! chocolate cake, with pudding mixed in crushed oreos on top and gummy worms! Just have fun and make a mess!

  2. http://www.kraftfoods.com/jello/explore/...

i loved this dessert when i was a kid

serve them in those little plastic clear cups if you do it

    they get kids really excited!

  3. You may want a summer theme.  Check the web for patterns to make pinwheels, huge crepe paper flowers.  Make the wormy pudding cups suggested above. Chocolate pudding with oreos crumbled on top with a gummy worm or bug.  Try the aquarium jello cup and pool cakes - links below.

  4. chucky cheese they can eat play, and best of all you dont hav 2 clean it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111

  5. How cute!  There's lots you can do!

You can have relay races with potato sacks, three legged races, wheelbarrel where one person holds the other person's ankles and they race each other,  etc.  You can have them play kickball, etc.

You can also have them do games like the egg on the spoon race, having them hold an egg on the spoon and getting from one point to another without breaking it.

You can have them pass a potato around a circle under their chin without dropping it, whoever drops it is out of the game, the last person in wins the game.

For food, I would keep it simple, either find a way to bbq with hamburgers and hot dogs or a pizza party. You can then do ice cream for dessert.  If you can't do ice cream if you can do ice pops or something to that sort, they would love that!

I'm not sure if I would have crafts, I would keep it with games and things like that.  Fun activities that are meant for the kids to play, etc.  Maybe they can make their own sundaes with different flavors of ice cream and different toppings, etc.

OR You can do a carnival theme!

Have popcorn and cotton candy, along with a bbq of hamburgers and hot dogs, and ice cream!

Decorate in red and white with red and white balloons in clusters at each area and streamers at each area, the staff can be dressed up, just be careful, some kids are afraid of clowns, so I would stay away from that!

Have carnival games, a ring toss, another game of toss the ping pong ball in the fishbowl,  etc.

Make it like a carnival!  You can get those sand kits at the toy store and have them make sand art to bring home.

Make some stands with games at each one, the baskets where they have to throw the wiffle bowl in the basket, the baketball throw, etc,

I hope some of these ideas help and that the kids have a great party!

  6. Craft stores (Michael's, Hobby Lobby, JoAnn's) have visors and tee-shirts that the kids could decorate .....Or, they could decorate their cupcakes:) .....  A pinata is always fun, and you could fill it with things from the $1 store (super balls, glow bracelets, etc - not just candy) ....  Check out Oriental Trading Co. for bulk, inexpensive favors for the kids (or to stuff a pinata)
