Ones that don't require messy glues,etc.... for 10-20 kids. It is for a library reading program.

  1. GO to Oriental Trading Company they have all sorts of stuff.

  2. Alphabet Soup, Gayle's Preschool Rainbow and Perpetual Preschool are some good websites

Usually if I just search online it won't take long to find it

  3. There are some great Fourth of July arts & crafts ideas at this site:

  4. I found that giving them strips of crape paper (red, white and blue, of course) from rolls that are sold in craft stores and letting them connect them to make streamers. (You can use twisties to connect them since you don't want a mess.) They should be about the length of the child's height minus a foot.

Then play music and let them wave their streamers in time with the music.  If they can go outside and run with them that would be great.

  5. Tape a big sheet of clear contact paper (STICKY SIDE UP) on a table and have kids stick various red stripes, white stripes, and blue stars (made out of tissue paper) all over it. You can then hang it in a window and it's really pretty when the light shines through it.

You could make a paper-quilt about the U.S.  Have each child design a 5 inch x 5 inch square with whatever they want (regarding the U.S.) and then assemble them on the wall into a quilt with a nice border.

    Good luck!
