Question:

I need ideas for wholesome, inexpensive meals...help please!?!?

I'm a student on a very tight budget this semester. I'm hoping to hear some unique meal ideas. Not just 'baked chicken' or 'pasta'....we eat beef, chicken, pork and a wide variety of vegetables, so whatever you suggest in those categories will be welcomed (of course chicken and pasta are the cheapest items).

Thanks for your help!!! :)

  1. Crock pot cream cheese chx

4-6 chx breast bone-in or boneless either way

    1 package of cream cheese

1 package of good sense (or any brand) dry Italian Dressing Mix

    1 small can of mushrooms

1 can cream of mushroom soup.

Place chx in crock pot, mix other ingredients and pour over chx cook for 8-10 hours. Makes a great gravy that you can serve over potatoes, rice or pasta.

If you don't have a crockpot you can bake at 350 degrees for an hour.

    Hope this helps!

  2. Microwave sweetcorn for 5 minutes wait to cool a little before you take the husk off

  3. If it were a "holesome" meal I would have suggested swisscheese....
