I need ideas on covering up a bad tattoo?

I got four hebrew letters on my neck and the artist was not good at all. They're totally blurry and just really not tasteful. They're four block letters. What could I do to cover them up that's not too harsh and still feminine?

  1. you hair if you can.. or a chocker necklace.

if it is cold outsaide wear a scarf.

    hope i helped<3

  2. Go to a shop and have an artist bounce some ideas off of you. Have you thought about laser tattoo removal? I'm having it done on 3 tattoos and am very happy with the results so far, it's working really well

  3. think of things you like and could be happy with being on your body forever then go to a tattoo artist, tell him your ideas and ask him if he can draw up something for you to see. professional tat artist who get lots of clientele are used to this. people often go to them with fuzzy ideas and ask their opinions and expertise.

  4. get wrecking balm tatoo removal cream

    laser removal

    a scarf or turtle neck

    an amazing concealer

or u shouldnt of got one at all

its permanent and thats what you wanted...

  5. Go see a good artist and collaborate with them.  Covering is obviously a lot harder to do then the original, so make sure to look at the artist's portfolio of covers and reworks.  If you find someone that does good work, get some ideas from him as to what you could do.  If the original tattoo has faded then you could probably do a lot more.  Just make sure it is something that you really want.  You don't want to go back in another couple of years asking to have that one recovered or removed for that matter.

  6. turn them into flowers or into butterflies that stinks your tattoo is bad

  7. How old is the tattoo? you know tattoos tend to look blurry for the first month to six weeks because of the healing..> You generally have to give it a good 6 weeks to see the true tattoo.. If it hasn't been that long, give them some time.

A good artist could keep them the same, maybe fade them into some shading around the outside? like a sort of star background or just a color if you like, if thats something you'd like? or even just make them a little larger to make the lines more solid.

But give it some time first :)

  8. A dark rose. Most people go with a coy fish, they're meaningful and as long as this time the artist is professional, he'll place it in a way that it wouldn't look odd, and put the darker scales where it's less obvious. It's an odd place to have a coy fish though, so it's either laser or something equally bold. e.g. tribal design, thick floral.

Or you can have another artist try and recover the hebrew letters?

  9. Most tattoo artists are skilled at coverups - 20% of their work.

Go talk to a good artist and they will have a lot better input that folks on this forum
