My husband and I are planning on starting a family next year. I really would like to help him out with the bills, and all the baby needs since he is the only one working now..Im just taking classes online. Anyway, Im thinking of doing a home show business because I think I would really enjoy it, but Im still nervous that I wont make much money. My goal is to make around 1000 a month give or take. I thought of maybe working at babies r us? I dont want to work weekends unless its a small morning shift...maybe from 8-12 or something. I would only like to work 10-20 hours per week. Any ideas?

  1. Consider the actual cost of you getting a part time job that pays less than 20 bucks/ hour.  Add up the gas/transportation, the lunch expenses, the taxes..etc... Most likely it would not make much sense. You are better off starting a small business that can be run via any computer (at home, etc.) that requires minimal startup  but has the ability to generate atleast 1000 per month within a short period of time.

Look, this may not be the most popular answer, most would recommend a job. Nothing wrong with a job but  unless you are putting full time hours I do not see the benefit beyond taking up alot of your time for a few bucks. Build something that can generate income for you around the clock.

Probably for a newbie like yourself , I would look for a turnkey affiliate business to start with.

A quick search of google and i found the link below . A turnkey affiliate business you can start with little or no out of pocket expense.

    good luck

  2. There are a lot of ads here saying "flexible schedule-good for retired or students!".  Makes it look like they are definitely not looking for a parent who has priorities at home first.

You've asked a question I think there is no answer to for a mom.

I've been looking for the same work forever.

    Good Luck though ;)

  3. Go to cosmetology school get your license, once you have your license you can make your appointments for whenever you want to work or work when you have the time, in home or at a solon.  I even went to peoples homes and did hair so there are all kinds of options.  Nails too!

  4. Hello! How about an online job like medical transcription, data entry and paid blogging? If  you want something more relaxing visit http://viewads2earnmoney.blogspot.com/. Everything in it is free to join and accepts international members and you can work at your own pace and time. I hope this helps.

  5. Grocery stores are a good place to work part time.  They have different shifts in different departments.  Restaurants usually are very stress full especially fast food.  A lot of schools have part time jobs, that are m-f, but usually have set hours, some involve working with kids, some don't.  Video rental stores are good to work at.  Look for places with happy employees.  There are some after school day care programs that are small shifts, even flexible shifts with elementary school children, much less stressful then a pre school.

  6. There are lots of places who want part-time workers. you can try burger joints, malls, daycare places, etc.lol
