Well I'm going into 6th grade and ever since I got out of 4th grade I've wanted to go to this one school. So we've moved about 2 or 3 times since then. I need some ideas from you guys, How can I convince my mom to let me go to that school? She wants to send me to this one school only because it's closer, and just in case I have to walk home one day it wont be that long. But the school that I want to go to most students there have a higher Education Level than the students at the other school. It's not even that far away from my house. AND PLUS I have friends there who can come pick me up after school if my mom cant. Can you guys help me come up with more ideas so my mom will let me go to that school! 10 Points Best Answer! Thanks for all your help in advance! :D

  1. just go to that school

  2. All you need to do is give your mum the reasons why you want to go there - and if it is just because your mates are going there then think of some new ones.

for example, The latest statistics show that school to be performing well.

Be wary though, it does sound like you may be relying on your mates for a lift - what will you do if you guys fall out?  Which lets be honest is quite likely.  Also, do you really think that it is fair to set your mum up as a taxi service now you are going to higher education - surely at some point you should be sorting yourself out.

Talk to you mum, Im sure if she can see how unhappy you would be at the other school she will let you go to your preferred school.

  3. I don't know about where you live but where we live there are districts. If you are not within the district for the school you want to go to it is tough. The only way you can chose is if the school failed the AYP and if your parent works for the school system.

  4. same problem but my mom won't let me go to the school i went to last year and enrolled me at another one where you have to wear the STUPIDEST uniform ever, it's not even a private school. i think if you really want to go, make a chart of the good and bad (pros and cons) about each school, and that you've wanted to go to a new school for a long time because at your current school, the teachers don't care about the students and stuff. lie if you have to :) just beg her. good luck, i hope every thing goes well for you !
