  1. You could go two separate ways, either way, get permission from your parents first. You'll probably need some help from them anyway:

    Beach volleyball:

Get some shells and sand and fill some glass vases with them and sit them around. Then you could design a net on your wall with some strips of masked painting tape, you could also get a color wallpaper border that has a sand color to it and place it upside down on the bottom of the wall above the trim.

Small things like weathered wood dock items and rope can really convey at beach, ocean vibe.

    Or Indoor volleyball.

If you have wood floors, you could lay vinyl lines in your room to match a gym floor. Make sure it's vinyl tape though or you could ruin your floor. Like the beach theme, you could paint a net on the wall, carefully.

If you have some old balls, you could cut them in half (carefully!) and secure them to the wall. If you halve them, you have twice as many balls on your wall and it's easier to stick them on the wall. To do this (Get your parent's to help):

    1. Cut the balls in half (If you don't have any, ask around the local YMCA for old balls they don't need anymore.)

    2. Buy some large styrofoam-like  balls at a craft store.

    3. Cut them in half too.

    4. Place the half of styrofoam-like material inside the half of the ball. You may need to trim with sandpaper (do this outside or in a room you can clean easily. (This will make the ball look like it's blown up.)

    5. Cut a piece of wood in a circle so you can staple the ball's rubber to the edge. But don't do it yet.

    6. Nail the wood circle to the wall.

    7. Staple the ends of the half circle ball to the edge of the wood.

There's also things like light switches shaped like volleyballs that you can buy to accent your room. These accents would work with both themes.

You can do all of this pretty cheap if you just ask around. I can see this being done for less than $50.00 and maybe, if you promise that doing work like this, you will also clean your room, maybe your parents will consider the $50.00 an investment.
