  1. it can be because the cat can be spraying alot and the vet can fix that so don't worry.

  2. Christ, some people really drive me nuts.

You do not need an emergency vet, this can wait until tomorrow evening.

What you can do is put some neosporan on it. It's safe for cats, but she'll likely l**k it off.

Just wait. She'll be fine. There's no reason to rush off to an emergency vet or make yourself stressed with worry.

  3. Keep the vet appt... thats what you should do.. untill then, you will have to put up with her meowing

  4. Try petting her to calm her down. Wrap her in a blanket too. Get the cage and everything ready ASAP. Stay with your cat and calm her. Talk soothingly with her. I hope she's ok.:)  I'M NOT SURE BUT YOU CAN TRY TO WIPE IT WITH A WARM CLOTH WITH WATER ON IT GENTLY. IF SHE STARTS MEOWING EVEN MORE THEN STOP. keep her inside- don't let her out until its cured.

  5. maybe she got bit.

my cat got bit right under her chin and it was so swollen. the swollen part was larger than her paw!

turns out, a racoon bit her and all she did was get a rabies shot.

  6. It isn't life threatening. Wait until you are able to take her to the vet. Jesus, some people really are paranoid. If the cat was dying I'd tell you to rush the appointment. But if she has a wound you can put some neosporin and that should alleviate her pain and discomfort for a while. But just because you have other things to do and think of......just don't forget to take her to the vet at 7:00 pm.

  7. Call different vets to see if you can get in sooner, call an emergency vet clinic, anything. And if you can't get in sooner, you are just going to need to take your chances and wait. And much as that may hurt.

  8. it sounds like an abscess...my cat has one right now...try to put some neosporin on it til you can get to the vet...and make sure you get her there as soon as possible because its probably painful as my cats was...if it is an abscess they will give you antibiotics...and if they try to give you some cream dont buy it...its the same thing as neosporin only it costs A LOT more...(vet told me that and hes good) good luck and hope shes ok!

  9. Call an emergency Vet clinic and they'll tell you what you should do until your appointment. Also as soon as your Vet's office opens, call them and explain the emergency and they may be able to get you an earlier appointment

  10. Put peroxide on it keep the appointment

  11. PHONE THE VET AND MAKE AN EMERGENCY APPOINTMENT- if they can't do it, phone other vets, and keep phoning even if you have to go to another city.
