I need info for adoptions from india?

what documents are required from the us for the process. Do we have to have an original Birth certificate or will passports work. anybody out there adopt from india lately?

personally, I would adopt from your own country first.

a child is a child no matter where they live. every child has a right to a good life. why adopt from far away when there are kids on ya doorstep that need a family?
