  1. sandals and beaches, breezes, grand lido, ect.  ALL COOKIE CUTTER places.. all the same. Staff are the same...

CLUB MED....decent  food, catering to your needs, specialized attention, great weddings, energetic staff, great shows,..ect.

A pretty place in a brochure is all great....but at the end of the day the EXPERIENCE is what makes a fab memory.

  2. Check out Sandals. We got married at Dunn River Falls Sandals in Jamaica. Very nice resort BUT I would NOT go far without a group of people.

Go to Grenada, the isle of spice! The link has a list of hotels!

  4. Check out Peter Island. It's a private island in the British Virgin Islands. It's absolutely incredible.

The resort is the only thing on the island. The resort only has 52 rooms. They treat their guests like they're royalty. Plus they recently redid the spa area and it's to die for!!

    Check it out at peterisland.com

  5. Here are a couple of links to look over.

My advice to you is go to your local travel agency and get some idea what you are looking for. There are so many beach destinations islands in the Caribbean to get married  on.

These are the things you should take into consideration.

    Budget

time of year (low season, high season)

    how many days

    Guests

What activities are you both interested in.

You are missing details for me to give you a good answer. I can only make random suggestions.

Good Luck. If you have any specific questions, come back and ask away. I would love to help you)

  6. In order to properly answer your question and make the ideal suggestion to you , I need more details ( how many family members or friends will attend , will children be invited , and where are you flying from ? , for example ) . Most , if not all Caribbean resorts host destination weddings these days , it's become a very popular option to the traditional Wedding & reception in a local catering hall .  If your guests will be adults only ( & you can AFFORD it ! ) , Sandals resorts are probably the best for destination weddings , with their Antigua resort voted the most romantic in the Caribbean . This is a big endeavor , so by all means I strongly suggest you use the services of a travel agent ( like me ! ) to help you . I suggest you decide which Caribbean Island you want to visit for your wedding 1st , then pick the resort to host it . Feel free to email me ( gerry@snapshottravelagency.com ) with your questions , I will be happy to work FOR you to set up the perfect destination wedding for YOU !  Best of luck , Regards , Gerry Donnelly , Snapshot Travel

Check out Couples Negril...that's where we're going on our honeymoon!  I cannot wait!  I've only heard good things.
